Although we consider the license code to be registered to a sole owner, we give you the right to also let your husband or wife use it. Please tell your friends to purchase the game though. Thanks.

Q: Can I buy a license code for Age of Conquest III for my friends?

Yes. Please note, although the license code is registered to your name, we allow you to transfer it to others. Once you transferred the license code to someone else, you forfeit the right to use that license code yourself.

Q: Will my desktop license code work for updated versions of Age of Conquest III?

Absolutely. We actively maintain Age of Conquest III and we will release bugfix releases and updates. Your license code will work with these updated versions.

Q: Will I experience any problems with Age of Conquest III/ONLINE if I change/upgrade my computer?

No, you will experience no problems at all. Our game is DRM free, so you can run it on any computer you like.

Q: What if your company goes out of business?

We have no intention to go out of business. However if that becomes a possibility, our software is DRM free, so you will still be able to run it on any computer.

Q: Can I install Age of Conquest III/ONLINE on more than one computer?

Yes, you can install Age of Conquest III/ONLINE on other computers.

Q: What if I lose my license code for Age of Conquest III?

As long as the email address you used while purchasing Age of Conquest III is still valid, email us from that email address and we will send you another license code. To be on the safe side, always make a backup copy of your license code.

Q: I am not happy with the game and would like a refund.

If you purchased the game through us (Noble Master Games), email us the order number and we will issue a full refund. If you purchased the game via one of our third party distributors, please contact them for a refund.

If you purchased the game through third party distributors, we usually have no option to issue refunds, so please contact the distributor directly for a refund. If you purchased the game through us (Noble Master Games) or through the Android Market, use our customer service email address to request a refund.


FAQ: Desktop (Windows, Macintosh and Linux)

Q: The game doesn't start (anymore).

Please (re-)install the game. Also delete the whole directory in which the game has been installed to.

Q: Age of Conquest ONLINE doesn't run on Mac OS X 10.x (Error: "Unable to launch application").

There is a caching bug running the game via JNLP (Bug #6563938). To fix the bug, open Applications -> Java Preferences. Then under "Network", uncheck "Keep temporary files for fast access".

Q: I cannot login anymore to Age of Conquest ONLINE.

It's most likely because you have been found cheating, using bad language (swear words, racist slurs), hacking etc. We close all account where the owner has shown bad behavior against others.

Q: Can I play the same game both on Android and on my PC/Macintosh/Linux computer?

Yes, as long as the game has been created in the "Mobile" Realm.

Q: I am having problems pasting the license code under Macintosh.

Copy/Paste should generally work on Macintosh: please try to paste the code with Control-V? Please note that there are some problems with copy/paste on some Macintosh. Try to repair your permission and see if that helps. Otherwise, there is a user.properties file inside the .app (right click and select "view contents" to view the user.properties file). You can add the license key to the LICENSE= line. Make sure that it is all on one line and it should work!

Q: I get installation errors while I install the game under Linux.

The game might still work fine even if you see error messages during installation. In any case, please run the installation as root users. That should make installation go smoothly.

Q: The settings including license code/key are not saved under Linux.

The game has been installed into a directory where it has no write permission. Re-install the game into your "/home", respectively "~" directory (not /usr). Or update the permissions so the game can write the settings.

Q: I am having problems playing sound under Linux.

Please make sure you are not playing other music/sound in the background (or even have a Flash running in the browser which plays sound) as other programs tend to lock the sound card for themselves. Another possible solution is that you are unable to play MIDI sounds. If you don not have any hardware MIDI support, then you'll need to install TiMIDIty to handle the MIDI files. Also, if that does not resolve the problem, try both the installer /w and w/o the JRE as some JRE are better suited for specific systems.

Q: I would like to buy the game, but I cannot find it in the Android Market.

In rare cases, it can take 4-8 hours to verify your payment. After that, the game should download fine. If no, please check on your order and make sure your payment has been successfully authorized. Google and your phone service provider handle all the transactions, so it's probably best to contact them if the problem persists. Sometimes using a different credit card helps resolve any issues you are having.

Q: Why did I have to pay a foreign/exchange fee when I purchased your game?
